Dedicated to the memory of Alison Ashton

On Friday, 22 May 2020, we said goodbye to one of the brightest and kindest souls on the earth and announce the passing of our mum, Alison Ashton earlier this morning. We wish to honour the life of an amazing and devoted mother, sister, auntie and friend that was always there for anyone and everyone. She lived a long and happy life and she fought, battled and lived right to the end, and now she can finally rest.

As some of you may know, during the last few years of her life, mum struggled with Parkinson’s disease. We are grateful for the hard work and effort of the nurses, staff and doctors who looked after her during these times.

We could talk for hours about the many amazing memories that we, as her family, had with her, but what we would like instead is to help to fight this illness and any small help is appreciated in this. We have developed this fundraising page in her memory to help raise funds for this little known illness and any help would be greatly appreciated.

As current restrictions dictate, we will have a very small graveside ceremony by invitation only, and once the restrictions are reduced, we will organise a celebration of life for her. More details will follow.

She is loved, she is cherished, she is safe, she is at peace, and she will be missed.

We love you mum
